Moroccan boxer Khadija Mardi (+81kg) won, on Sunday in New Delhi, the Women’s World Boxing Championships.
Mardi earned the title by defeating in the finals Kazakhstani Lazzat Kungeibayeva.
She became the first Moroccan, Arab, and African woman Champion in boxing.
Around 320 boxers representing 70 countries, including Morocco, took part in the Women’s World Boxing Championships.
