IS Obituary Video Features 4 Polisario Members

The Islamic State (IS) posted an obituary video including 4 deceased IS-affiliated members, whom are actually active members in the polisario militia.
The video contains pictures of “Abdelhakim Sahrawi”, former leader of the Islamic State in the Greater Sahara (IS-GS), “Abu Walid Al-Sahrawi2, “Abu Abderrahmane Al-Sahrawi”, and “Issa Al Sahrawi”.
Issa and Abu Abderrahmane were killed, in Jul. 2021 eastern Mali, in a French military operation in coordination with US Forces.
Many countries have shed light on the close relationship between ISIS and the polisario group. Former Director General of Spain’s Foreign and Security Policy Fidel Sendagorta had warned against the danger posed by the polisario in the Sahel region.
