At least 10 fishermen lost their lives in boat sinking on Tuesday off the southern city of Dakhla, according to local news outlets.
Five other fishermen were rescued by small-scale fishing boats, while two others are still missing. The boat, named “Hajar 2”, was carrying 17 people.
The accident was probably caused by strong winds that pushed the boat into a rock around.
