The Moroccan Royal Navy seized, on Monday, 1.5 tons of cannabis resin (Chira) packaged in 41 bundles, between Nador and Jebha (North of Morocco).
The drug bundles were thrown overboard as the Royal Navy was chasing the boats for failing to abide by the warning shots.
The illegal substance was brought to the ports of Nador and Marina Smir and handed to the Royal Gendarmerie for routine procedures.
