The Moroccan critic Mustapha Rajouan won, on Sunday, the Abdulaziz Saud Al Babtain Cultural Foundation Prize, in its 18th edition, for the “best poetic criticism book” category.
Rajouan got the award for his book “Poetry and Harmony of Discourse: The linguistics of text and the poetics of Jean Cohen”, alongside Egyptian critic Ahmed Darwish.
The Foundation’s prizes fall within categories such as the Prize for the best book of poetic criticism, the Prize for the best book, the Prize for the best poem for youth, in addition to an honorary award for poetic creativity.
This edition has attracted a huge turnout from Arab countries. More than 826 submissions were registered in the Prize’s categories.
