The World Bank approved, Friday, an additional funding of 250 mln dollars to support education in Morocco, wrote a press release by the banking institution.
The sum is an addition to the 500 mln dollars approved in 2019.
The money is meant to enable the country deliver quality early childhood education services, support primary and secondary education teaching practices and strengthen management capacities and accountability.
So far, the 2019 Education Support Program has enhanced the capacities of the teaching workforce, improved early childhood education and governance, and built managerial capacities.
The additional funding, which includes technical support for the ministry in charge, will also serve to assess learning to achieve better outcomes.
