Morocco’s national beach soccer team was ranked 14th worldwide for the first time in its history in the quarterly results for 2023, according to Beach Soccer Worldwide (BSWW).
With 770 points, Morocco came second in Africa after Senegal. It also ranked second in the Arab world following UAE.
The Portuguese team topped the BSWW rankings.
The national team defeated France 3-1, on Wednesday, in a friendly played at Mohammed VI Football Stadium.
