The Moroccan Embassy in Senegal called on Moroccans residing in the country to be extra careful, avoid errands unless necessary and follow the instructions of authorities.
Thousands of sympathizers of Senegal’s opposition have been protesting in Dakar since last Tuesday against the trial of one of its leaders, Ousmane Sonko.
Demonstrators rioted in the capital, in tandem with Sonko’s trial.
Footage showing people setting fire to vans and throwing stones at police services, causing mayhem, led the Kingdom’s embassy to issue this warning
