The provisional program on civil engineering and public works exceeded 45 billion MAD in 2023, said Minister of Equipment Nizar Baraka on Wednesday.
Baraka said that this amount is divided between the sectors of water (14 Bln MAD), roads and highways (13.6 Bln MAD), ports (5.05 Bln MAD), and public facilities (13 Bln MAD).
The ministry is taking proactive measures for the mobilization of real estate necessary for the said program. In this regard, an amount of 1.5 billion dirhams was earmarked for the year 2023.
The minister was speaking at an information meeting aimed at enabling companies and stakeholders to better prepare for the programmed investment programs, while fostering transparency, competitiveness and good governance.
