Morocco was ranked 96th on the Legatum Prosperity Index in 2023, moving up 5 spots compared to 2011, said a report entitled “The 2023 Legatum Prosperity Index”, by the Legatum Institute.
Morocco came 1st in North Africa and 8th in the Arab world and Africa, according to the study conducted in 167 countries.
Morocco ranks highest in Investment Environment, Infrastructure, and Market Access, but lowest in Social Capital.
The most significant improvement since a decade ago occurred in the Investment Environment.
