Morocco hosted, last month, the first exhibition by Jewish-Moroccan artist Igal Fedida, Jerusalem Post reported.
The Casablanca-based exhibition was inaugurated by head of the Israeli Liaison Office in Morocco Alona Fisher-Kamm.
“What a pleasure it was to see the growing interest in the Israeli art scene among Moroccan art lovers!”, said Deputy Chief of Mission of Israel in Morocco Eyal David.
“I hope that we will also see a Moroccan painter presenting his work in an art gallery in Israel, inshallah soon”, he added.
Igal Fedida is an Israeli of Moroccan descent who currently lives in the United States. He has two workshops, one in Zichron Ya’akov and one in Florida.
