Police services raided three sites at Selouane and Zaïo in Nador (northern Morocco) used for storing and selling large quantities of fuel as well as recycling waste oil, a security source said.
8 suspects were arrested in this operation carried out on Tuesday.
Police services also raided a warehouse for storing and selling fuel at Aklim in Berkane (northeastern Morocco), arrested 2 suspects and seized 60 tons of fuel.
The source added that 4 tons of fuel were also confiscated in Lamriss warehouse located in Ahfir (northeastern Morocco) and a person was apprehended.
