Congresspersons, from the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, said, on Tuesday, that they were impressed by Morocco’s greenery and renewables programs.
The US delegation is on a visit to Morocco and had the opportunity to meet with Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita.
Congressman of California, Salud Carbajal lauded the actions undertaken by Morocco to face climate change, saying that the delegation wanted to learn more about reforms carried out by the Kingdom in this regard.
For their part, Adriano Espaillat and Sylvia Garcia, Congresspersons of New York and Texas respectively, hailed Morocco’s investment in its human resources, mainly initiatives aimed at women’s empowerment.
They also welcomed the Kingdom’s leadership in the region and its contribution to promoting peace in the Middle East.
The congresspersons surveyed the numerous aspects of cooperation between the USA and Morocco, especially in the military and economic fields.
