AAPSO Committee Terms PJD’s Statement as Irresponsible

The International Committee for Supporting Palestinian People, under the Afro-Asian People’s Solidarity Organization (AAPSO), deplored PJD Party’s statement on Morocco and Israel ties, implicating the Palestinian cause in an “irresponsible” way.
In a release on Monday, the Rabat-based Committee reaffirmed that it highly appreciates Morocco’s steadfast position as well as King Mohammed VI’s tireless support for the rights of the Palestinian people to establish their independent State with occupied Eastern Jerusalem as its capital.
The Committee rejected the exploitation of the Palestinian cause for political gains and agendas.
The release emphasized the depth of Moroccan-Palestinian relations and said that it fully understands and respects Moroccan foreign policy.
It also praised King Mohammed VI for his chairmanship of the Al-Quds Committee as well as his ongoing support for the Holy City and its residents.
