The Royal Navy Coastguard, patrolling the northern waters (off Nador), seized, on Friday, over three tons of cannabis resin (locally known as chira).
The Coastguard hunted down two go-fast boats which were carrying 85 packs of the illegal substance, according to a military source.
The drug was handed to the royal gendarmerie in Nador port as per the routine legal procedure.
