Author and political activist Marianne Williamson announced her candidature to lead the Democratic Party for the next presidential elections, according to US media.
In an interview on Sunday with ABC News, Williamson said that she is seeking to be nominated by the Democratic Party for the presidential elections.
She highlighted that she is not challenging Joe Biden but the whole system. She claimed that Biden is perpetuating income and opportunity inequality.
The writer promised a “fundamental economic reform”, in addition to free health care, free college, and free childcare.
