US Ambassador to Morocco Puneet Talwar paid, Tuesday, a visit to the Police Forensic Laboratory, located in Casablanca.
Talwar was accompanied by an American diplomatic delegation.
The visit seeks to boost the National Police’s openness to other areas and crown the distinguished American-Moroccan collaboration, notably in the security sector.
Talwar was given details about the latest forensic techniques and equipment used at the laboratory to investigate crimes and provide evidence at courts.
The Ambassador lauded the laboratory for receiving the international quality certificate for the fifth successive time.
The laboratory was inaugurated on May.16, 2021. It is equipped with the latest technologies and high-tech equipment to extract and process DNA. It includes mainly a DNA diagnostics facility, a biological expertise center and an IT security unit.
