Morocco’s Air Force is taking part in the military air exercise “Desert Flag”, scheduled on Feb.27 – Mar.17 at the Al Dhafra air base in the UAE, said the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) on its Facebook Page.
Air Forces from the USA, France, Britain, Spain, Australia, India, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, and the UAE are also participating in the exercise.
Morocco’s participation is meant to enhance the country’s military capabilities, in light of the modernization of military equipment and arsenal through the purchasing of modern and advanced weaponry.
The FAR and the US Armed Forces held meetings on Jan.9-20 in Agadir, in preparation for the African Lion exercise 2023.
