The turnover of Telecommunication Company “Maroc Telecom” reached 35.7 billion dirhams in 2022, posting a slight decrease of 0.2% year on year, the company said in a statement.
The group’s activities in Morocco generated a turnover of 19.54 billion dirhams, a decline of 1.8% compared to 2021, it said, noting that the landline data (+6.7%) offsets the drop in mobile revenues (-3.9%).
Landlines and Internet activities posted revenues of 9.56 billion MAD, up 1% compared to 2021. The growth in landline Data (+6.7%) is driven mainly by the FTTH network (+37%).
At the international level, the company’s revenues rose by 2% to reach 17.24 billion MAD in 2022. Excluding the drop in call terminations, subsidiaries’ revenues grew by 2.3%, it added.
