Spanish E-newspaper “Moncloa.com” exposed corruption inside the European parliament and the political manipulation by “inter-groups” that serve their external political agenda and propaganda.
The article authored by Juan Vicente Pérez Aras described those “inter-groups” as “disparate groups”, and cited the example of the Intergroup for Sahara which is meddling in a political issue that was brought before the UN Security Council.
The writer said that this inter-group never expresses the views of the different parties to the conflict, but only the views of the Polisario and its sponsor Algeria. “It only invites people who agree with the Polisario agenda, including Sultana Khaya, who often calls for committing terrorist attacks on civilians in the Sahara”, said Perez.
The Spanish politician also slammed the inconsistency of this intergroup, which has never raised the issue of human rights abuses in the Tindouf camps in Algeria, the census rejection, the Geneva Convention violations, child soldiers, and embezzlement of European humanitarian aid documented by the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF).
Perez stated that this lack of impartiality encourages this inter-group to repeatedly violate the European Parliament regulations, which represents a “systematic attack” on Morocco. He also recalled the strategic partnership between Morocco and Europe which goes back half a century.
Perez strongly criticized condoning such groups and urged the European Parliament to stop tolerating these acts that harm relations with non-European countries.
