King Mohammed VI gave his instructions to the authorities concerned to mobilize all resources in order to help populations affected by bad weather.
Torrential rains and heavy snowfall have hit, over the past days, the provinces of Ouarzazate, Zagora and Taroudant (central Morocco).
The measures will involve several remote villages located in the said provinces. Foodstuffs, blankets and human resources will be airlifted by the Royal Armed Forces.
The relief operation will be organized and coordinated by the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity.
