Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita expressed, on Friday, Morocco’s rejection of the Israeli government’s recent decision to expand and legitimize their settlements.
Bourita voiced concern over these unilateral measures that could undermine the region’s peace, security and stability.
This came in a phone conversation with British Minister of State for the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia and United Nations at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) Tarik Ahmed.
Bourita confirmed Morocco’s commitment to the internationally agreed-upon two-state solution to settle the Palestinian issue.
The two Ministers discussed the strategic partnership between Britain and Morocco. They also touched on the upcoming fourth session of the strategic dialogue, slated in March.
