French drug smuggler Karim Harrat was deported, on Tuesday via Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca, to France over crimes and score settling, said French news outlets on Wednesday.
Harrat, aged 34 and residing in Dubai, was arrested in Tangier following a red notice issued by Interpol at the request of the French authorities.
The Public Prosecution of Marseille also asked for the drug smuggler’s deportation to Marseille to resolve many open judicial cases.
The arrested is accused of involvement in at least 4 cases of premeditated murder in regions near Paris and Marseille.
The deportation was delayed for over one year and a half due to paperwork and long procedures.
