King Mohammed VI handed, on Wednesday in Libreville, 2,000 tons of fertilizers to Gabonese farmers as a gesture of solidarity amid the global food crisis and fertilizer shortage.
The operation, carried out in the presence of Gabon’s head of state Ali Bongo Ondimba, will be followed by actions meant to provide these farmers with affordable, quality fertilizers that are adapted to the region’s soil.
The sovereign had met earlier with the Gabonese president on the rich and solid bilateral partnership in different areas.
The meeting was broadened to include foreign minister Nasser Bourita, Gabonese Minister Delegate for foreign affairs Yolande Nyonda and Secretary General of Gabon’s presidency Jean-Yves Teale.
