“No to political blackmail,” chanted dozens of Moroccan protestors who came, Monday, from several European countries in Strasbourg (north-east France) to protest the European Parliament’s actions against Morocco.
The EP adopted on Jan. 19 a resolution against Morocco.
Demonstrators recalled, out loud, that Morocco is a sovereign nation, and said that it is high time to reverse the policy of injunctions.
The Moroccan expatriates, who believe that Morocco has no lessons to learn from the European Parliament, plan to petition the legislative body on Tuesday.
Christophe Lecourtier, the new French ambassador in Rabat, said that the latest resolution by the European Parliament (EP) on Morocco does not implicate France.
