Three people were killed and five injured, on Monday around 8 p.m., when a gunman started firing on Michigan State University’s main campus.
The violence commenced on the sprawling East Lansing campus, about 90 miles northwest of Detroit.
The suspect was found dead because of a self-inflicted gunshot.
The 43-year-old gunman had no known ties to the university, and his motive remains unknown.
