Five Moroccan women are among the 100 influential businesswomen in the Middle East and North Africa, according to the 2023 rankings by Forbes Middle East Magazine.
Two of them are in the top 20: founder and CEO of AKSAL Group and Yan&One brand Salwa Idrissi Akhannouch (17th), and CEO of Eaux Minérales d’Oulmes and Holmarcom Group Miriem Bensalah Chaqroun (19th).
Diana Holding CEO Rita Maria Zniber is ranked 33rd. Diana Holding specializes in non-alcoholic beverages, plastics, agriculture, olive farming, poultry, seafood, distribution, and retail.
President and CEO of Sothema Group Lamia Tazi holds the 65th spot. The company produces about 60 million pharmaceutical products per year and has a 9% market share.
Saïda Karim Lamrani comes in the 80th place. She is the Executive Vice-President of Safari Holding – Sofipar.
