Morocco topped North African countries in terms of country risk assessment, according to the 2023 risks barometer published by Coface.
In its report entitled “From excessive pessimism to excessive optimism”, which was prepared in collaboration with French Institute of International Relations (IFRI), Coface has maintained a B rating for Morocco, on a gloomy world map of C, D, and E ratings (high, very high and extreme risk), due to an international environment that remains both risky and uncertain.
Morocco has once again confirmed its resilience, and although the grade reflects a “fairly high” risk, the Kingdom remains in the top 7 African countries in terms of risk assessment.
Coface is a credit insurer that operates worldwide to help companies forestall and assess trade risks. It offers debt collection services, factoring, business information and bonds.
