Morocco will receive a grant of €201,000 from the African Development Bank (AfDB), to provide the necessary technical assistance for the dam design, river development, and inter-basin interconnection studies, said the Bank.
The grant will be extended through the bank’s technical assistance fund for middle-income countries, for the directorate of hydraulic development of the Ministry of Equipment and Water.
The project includes two components. The first entails the provision of technical assistance, while the second involves ensuring the follow-up and coordination of this technical assistance implementation.
The expected results include assessing the technical feasibility before the launch of projects, ensuring the optimal design for the project by providing technical expertise, and confirming the technical characteristics of complex projects using experts in the field.
