Real Madrid defeated, Saturday, Al-Hilal (5-3) to win the 2023 Club World Cup held in Morocco at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium.
Vini Jr netted the first goal in the 13th min of the game and fellow player Federico Valverde in the 18th min. AL-Hilal succeeded to score the first goal in the 26th min by Moussa Marega.
Karim Benzema scored the third goal in the 54th min while Al- Ahli’s Luciano Vietto scored 2 goals in the second half time. Federico Valverde and Vini Jr scored the winning touchdown in the 58 min and 69 min.
Flamingo won the third place playoffs against AL Ahly (4-2).
Real Madrid moved to the finals after a successive win over all teams that participated in the tournament to snatch deservedly the tournament.
Morocco organized the 2023 Club World Cup after the outstanding performance of Moroccan national team in the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
