The International Monetary Fund (IMF) agreed, Thursday, to loan Tunisia 120 million dollars to finance small and medium-sized projects, said IMF in a statement.
The loan aims to help Tunisian companies overcome their liquidity problems by providing the Finance Ministry with long-term lines of credit.
Tunisia had requested the IMF to initiate an economic reform program in the country and provide a financial loan, which was approved in October 2022, but not enforced up till now.
Tunisia is witnessing economic difficulties since President Kais Saied took office.
