US Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken praised Morocco’s commitment to supporting peace and security in the MENA region.
This came during a phone call on Tuesday between Blinken and Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita.
The US top official highlighted Morocco’s participation in the Negev Forum and engagement in backing regional stability.
During the phone conversation, the two officials reviewed the security situation in the Middle East, notably the recent developments of the Israeli-Palestinian issue.
Blinken urged Egyptian, Israeli, and Palestinian officials to de-escalate and cease the cycle of violence.
