The Tunisian Human Rights League (LTDH) condemned the dissolution of the Algerian League for the Defense of Human Rights (LADDH) by The Algerian authorities, said the Tunisian association in a recent statement.
The LTDH stressed the arbitrary aspect of the decision, which violates the relevant international laws and human rights conventions regarding freedom of expression.
The association denounced the campaign targeting human rights bodies to silence them, urging the Algerian authorities to reverse the decision.
It also expressed its full solidarity with its Algerian counterpart, underlining the latter’s efforts to uphold human rights in Algeria.
