Women living in Tindouf camps made an emotional appeal to the United States to rescue them from the polisario gang and the hellish conditions they live in.
In a video that went viral on social media, the Sahrawi women complained about their dehumanization and objectification by men running the camps. They said that polisario separatists ban contraceptive pills and use women as breeding machines.
The separatist front fails to provide nutritional and healthy meals for children, they added. “These meals are distributed in an unfair way.”
The three women speaking in the video said that health care is very poor, and everybody is suffering in the camps, especially women.
They also said that children are kidnapped and kept apart from their mothers. This hostage situation is used to dissuade women from leaving the camps and staying near their children.
