Head of Moroccan Government Aziz Akhannouch led a senior delegation to the “Dakar 2 Summit” which started on Wednesday in Diamniadio (Central Senegal Coastal City), under the theme “Feeding Africa: food sovereignty and resilience”.
The delegation included ministers from various departments as equipment, water and agriculture; in addition to OCP Group’s CEO, and Chairman of CGEM, among others.
On the sidelines of the event, President of Senegal Macky Sall received Aziz Akhannouch, who was carrying a message from King Mohammed VI.
The summit was also an opportunity to meet with President of Kenya William Samoei Ruto, who expressed genuine will to open a new page in bilateral relations, and strengthen strategic ties for the shared benefit of the two parties.
The African Development Bank organized the 2nd edition of the Dakar Summit on Agriculture and Agribusiness (Dakar II) under the patronage of Senegal’s President.
