Morocco strongly condemned Wednesday the tearing of pages of the Holy Quran by an extremist in The Hague, wrote a statement by the Foreign Ministry.
Morocco strongly rejected this new provocative, unacceptable act that hurts the feelings of all Muslims and targets sacred religious symbols.
It called for respecting the values of tolerance and coexistence, stressing the need to apply the law to deter such actions.
