Morocco’s phosphates office (OCP) signed a partnership with India to supply it with 1.7 million metric tons of fertilizers over the next 12 months, said OCP in a statement.
This Partnership is aimed at carrying out joint Research and Development initiatives, promoting innovative fertilization solutions, and offering tailor-made fertilizers that meet the specific needs of Indian farmers.
Under the deals, OCP will provide India with 700.000 MT of Triple Super Phosphate in addition to 1.000.000 tons of diammonium phosphate.
According to OCP, the memoranda were signed with Indian fertilizer manufacturers, in the presence of Mansukh Mandaviya, Minister of Health, Chemicals and Fertilizers in India, Shri Rajesh Vaishnaw, Ambassador of India to the Kingdom of Morocco and Mostafa Terrab, CEO of OCP Group.
