Michele Sison, Assistant Secretary of State for International Organization Affairs, will pay a visit to Morocco on January 21-26, to discuss shared multilateral priorities across the UN system, the U.S. Department of State had announced.
The Kingdom of Morocco was elected member of the United Nations Human Rights Council for the period 2023-2025, with a sweeping majority of 178 votes.
Sison will tackle the issue of human rights with senior government officials, UN representatives and civil society stakeholders.
