Police services foiled, Saturday in Oujda, an illegal immigration operation and nabbed three Sudanese individuals over the suspicion of involvement in a criminal network for organizing illegal immigration and human trafficking.
The suspects were caught red-handed hiding 105 illegal immigrants in several houses in Oujda, said a statement by the national police DGSN.
They are suspected of aiding and abetting illegal immigrants to enter Morocco from its Eastern border and helping them to storm into Melilla.
Police services seized steel-made equipment used in climbing and breaking into the northern occupied city, in addition to electronic devices, passports, and fake IDs.
The arrested are being investigated, under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecution.
