A helicopter crash in a Kyiv suburb on Wednesday killed 16 persons, including Ukraine’s interior minister and two children, said Ihor Klymenko, chief of Ukraine’s National Police.
There were 22 persons wounded in total, including 10 children. Officials and media reports had previously stated that the chopper had crashed near a kindergarten, reported AP.
Klymenko said the trajedy happened when an emergency services helicopter crashed in Brovary, Kyiv’s eastern district.
