Gladiator Sequel To Be Shot in Ouarzazate, Says The Sun

Ouarzazate city (South-Central Morocco) has been chosen as the location to shoot “Gladiator 2” in May, said British E-newspaper “The Sun”.
Ouarzazate is building a reputation as a favorite site for moviemakers due to its dramatic landscape, it said.
Ridley Scott picked Ouarzazate for the first part of the Roman-style film “Gladiator 1”, and the sequel will be in the same location.
Many filmmakers are choosing the city for bringing their ideas and creativity to reality, such as Gladiator 1 (2000), Game of Thrones (2011-2019), Prison Break (2005-2017), and Redemption Day (2021).
