Counselor of the US Department of State Derek Chollet will travel to the United Arab Emirates, on January 8-10, to meet with representatives from Morocco, Bahrain, Egypt, Israel, and the UAE as part of the Negev Forum expected to be hosted by Morocco.
According to a press release on Saturday by the spokesperson of the US Department of State, the travel of Chollet is part of an interagency delegation to participate in the first meeting of the Negev Forum Working Groups, where he will co-chair the Regional Security Working Group.
The multilateral meetings will focus on advancing initiatives to encourage regional integration and cooperation, it said.
