Morocco ranks 6th among African countries concerning military strength, said the Global Firepower (GFP) defense review for the year 2023.
Morocco holds a PowerIndex (PwrIndx) score of 1.0524. A 0.0000 is the perfect score, however it is realistically attainable.
The PwrIndx is determined by 60 factors in categories ranging from the number of military units, and financial standing to logistical capabilities and geography.
Egypt outranked all Arab countries with a PwrIndx score of 0.2224 and ranked 14 globally.
According to GFP, the United States and Russia topped the rankings with a PwrIndx score of 0.0712 and 0.0714 respectively, followed by China and India.
