The “Yellow Vest” protests erupted, again, in Paris on January 7 over inflation and high living costs, said French media outlets.
The demonstrators gathered in the Place de Breteuil and headed to Bercy avenue (east of Paris) and the Ministry of Economy.
Protestors staged demos against the pension reform, laid down in article 49-3 of the labor code, and the rise in energy bills.
The “Yellow Vest” is an unstructured and occasional protest movement that emerged in France in October 2018. It relies mainly on social media to organize itself.
