Spokesperson of the government Mustapha Baîtas stated, on Thursday, that Tourism revenues climbed by 120% in 2022 compared to 2019.
The spokesperson explained that this recovery rate was posted after the opening of borders.
According to Baîtas, the tourism sector will witness, over the next months, the launch of several innovative projects, including the revision of promotional campaigns.
The craft sector’s exports will exceed, for the first time, one billion MAD by the end of the current month, as a result of the strong demand for national crafts.
795 million MAD was the highest figure recorded by Morocco in the craft sector.
