The Spanish police services dismantled Thursday, in coordination with the Moroccan ones, a seven-member network over the suspicion of implication in issuance of forged residence documents for Moroccan immigrants in Spain.
The suspects were selling falsified documents for 3,000 euros each. The similarities in family names on applications raised the suspicion of the Spanish police who moved to arrest the culprits in the cities of Navarra, Almería and Tarragona.
For its part, the Moroccan police investigated the case and arrested the person in charge of the civil registry in the city of Assa (southern Morocco) for document falsification.
