Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication launched, on Monday, the “Niya Maghribya” digital museum, a website showcasing photos and videos of the Moroccan football team during the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
The digital museum includes official photos and videos of the Moroccan players as well as non-official ones by supporters documenting the Atlas Lions’ outstanding performance at the tournament.
The website also features the celebratory reception held in honor of the players from Salé-Rabat Airport to the royal palace where they were received by King Mohammed VI and Princes Moulay El Hassan and Moulay Rachid.
The national team stunned the globe by reaching the semi-finals of the Qatar World Cup as the first African and Arab team to achieve that accomplishment. During its spectacular performance, the Moroccan team was able to overthrow great European teams such as Belgium, Spain, and Portugal.
The ministry said that the website will remain open to the general public to immortalize all these historic moments.
