Police services in Settat and Berrechid (center of Morocco), arrested two members of a criminal gang, aged between 20 and 22, for possession and trafficking of alcoholic drinks, hard drug, and psychotropic pills.
According to a police source, the suspects were nabbed in a security operation which resulted in the seizure of two kilograms of cannabis resin, 120g of cocaine, 1,592 ecstasy tablets, and Nitrous oxide which is used in sedation but also to get intoxicated.
One of the suspects has a criminal record and is wanted nationally for involvement in drug dealing in the cities of Settat, Berrechid, Mohammedia, and Khouribga.
The suspects were remanded in police custody to complete the investigation, under the supervision of the public prosecution.
