King Mohammed VI sent a message of congratulations to France’s President Emmanuel Macron for finishing as a runner-up in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, after being defeated by Argentina.
The Sovereign emphasized in this message that the French National Team has demonstrated a high level of professionalism and credibility throughout its adventure.
The King highlighted that a second place in this tournament is also highly honourable for France.
On Sunday, Argentina defeated France 4-2 on penalty shootouts and won the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
