INTERPOL Secretary General Jürgen Stock lauded the Moroccan police’s efforts, saying that the body is qualified to secure important events.
“The Moroccan security services are adequately equipped and have all the professional qualifications and competencies to effectively participate in securing major sports events supervised by the INTERPOL”, a source quoted him as saying.
Stock was paying a working visit to the Doha International Center for Sport Security where security delegations from different countries are participating in securing the Qatar World Cup 2022.
The visit provided an opportunity to brief the INTERPOL head on the advanced security arrangements made as part of this worldwide event.
The (DGSN) delegation includes senior officers and experts specializing in collecting, analyzing, and sharing data related to sports security.
